My name is Louise Dickens and I currently live in a small, sunny village in Bedfordshire (I’m known to be slightly sarcastic). I think it’s pretty ironic that I share the same name as Charles Dickens, but unfortunately have yet to been told that he’s my great-great-great-great-grandad (but who knows?!).
I love to read, and have done for as long as I can remember. My parents used to read to me when I was a child, and my love of books grew from there. Long before I owned any books of my own, I read my mum’s Enid Blyton collection – my favourites being The Faraway Tree and The Famous Fives. One of the first books I bought myself was The Little White Horse, and it remains one of my all-time favourites today.
As a Journalism graduate and full-time digital marketer, this blog combines my love for reading with my love for writing and telling stories.
My reviews are very personal – my interpretations and opinions. But I love discussing alternate ideas and theories, so please do comment on my posts or get in touch on Twitter.
